What are peoples experiences ordering Hot Toys products off of eBay?

Looking, the majority of products offered are located in Hong Kong/China. Now normally, I'd avoid such things like the plague, but I do know that Hot Toys is Hong Kong based, so it kind of makes sense a decent amount of sellers would be based there.

I'm loathe to outright trust them, even the ones that say "100% official" and have the official boxes on display in their description... but dammit I need my Cosbabys and I don't know where else to get them over here.

Thoughts? Experiences? There's the stuff that's blatantly fake, I know that stuff, and don't buy it. But this is stuff purporting to be genuine. Too good to be true?

To my experience most of them on eBay are KOs, even when they claim otherwise (I have successfulyy gotten refunds based on this before). But then, at the cheap price some of the sellers are charging, I was happy enough (and the quality is actually decent for the Cosbaby KOs - in a glass case you wouldn't even notice). I have the 3 original singles, and more recently got the two that were only available in the 3-pack set.

Be aware that some Chinese sellers will not use a proper box when shipping (even at a high price), so you can potentially wave goodbye to the original boxes.

Are you looking to get the recently announced Cosbabies? You might wish to wait for Popcultcha. Their distribution arm, Ikon Collectables, recently had the new ones pop up on their site, so it shouldn't be too long before Popcultcha has them listed.

I will be getting the new ones, but I still need the first wave.

I didn't realise the 3-pack had a different two, I thought it was just the original 3 repackaged.

*Edit: I've just found them. Cool! More expensive to complete now, but cool!
