Gerry Duggan taking over Nova come November

Postby Spartakus X » Tue Aug 06, 2013 2:41 pm

Hey folks,

following Gerry Duggan on twitter I discovered this:

http://marvel.com/news/story/20980/fly_into_the_future_of_nova_with_gerry_duggan

Seems that he is really getting some well deserved recognition. Indeed he is a good writer and a really likable person in general.
The interview is great and makes him even more sympathetic. There are a few comments about the experience of writing Deadpool too.
Of course I hope his new assignment wont distract him from writing Deadpool, but he seems to be a work horse, so I'm not that
concerned about that. Let's just hope that Marvel doesn't pull an "Uncanny X-Force" on us or something.
Comedy too can sometimes discern what is right. I shall not please, but I shall say what is true.

I'm not too worried. That's the beauty of having two authors on the book.

Just wait until Posehn starts passive-aggressively inserting snide remarks about Duggan's career advancing while his remains stagnant.

Holy shit, Deadpool is about to become the most amazing comic ever.

I had a similar thought. That is, I was thinking Posehn's role as a writer somehow seems to get undermined.

If I were writing that story, I'd make it a murder mystery. Think about it.

Deadpoool Kills Posehn. Postmodern intertextuality takes a sinister turn.

Uh oh, are these the surprising in-continuity ramifications Bunn previously hinted at?
