Apparently it's about 16 cm [6.3 inches] tall, and is due to be released April-ish this year. I've seen differing prices, but all around 50-55 euros [about US$55-61] plus shipping.

More photos here: https://www.heo.com/de/en/product/SMB007 - it doesn't appear to be on the actual Semic site yet...
Doesn't appear to have an edition size listed

And now for the 'mother lode': XM Studios (in Singapore) have released the pre-orders for their officially-licensed 1/4 scale statues. The originally-planned XM statue was a casualty of them not being able to produce X-Men-related statues due to the previous Marvel/Fox movie issues. There were some designs floating around online, but nothing concrete. Again, came across these accidentally...

Version A [Standard], SG$1,150 (about US$850) plus shipping:

Version B [Deluxe], SG$1,299.00 (about US$957) plus shipping:

Note that XM only ship to certain Asian countries - but I've seen these on some US sites as well for those that are interested.
The edition size is "Made-to-order (MTO)", meaning that they will only produce the number of pieces for each statue that are pre-ordered during this initial period.

:o I need more disposable income.

=sigh= me too. I'm definitely getting the bust, and seriously considering getting the deluxe XM.

Here are a couple of vids for those that want a 3D view of the XMs.

The bust is a decent price, I'll definitely be looking to pick that up.

There's no way I'm going to be in a position to drop £650 on a statue any time soon, even for one as awesome as that.

Is it weird that I'm cooling off on the ultra-expensive XM statue? It isn't that I can't afford it, as I technically can, but the excitement about the release has passed, and I'm starting to think that the design is a bit too "LOL, random" (especially version B) and the pose is a bit forced ... The statue is also something that I have to go through some back-channels to get, as XM doesn't have an Australian distributor. I also might have to pay extra to get it through customs...

Thoughts? Am I nitpicking? The statue is an odd size, and my larger cabinets are already all full, so I'm on the fence about whether I really want this one or not.

I want the Semic bust more than ever though DPL

I like the statue. I think the version with the rocket boots looks like something straight out of a comic or video game. The killer for me is the price. I could get the two earlier Semic statues, which I think are much more BA, for the price of this one. It is definitely a pass for me at this time.

That's pretty cool! I wonder if it's part of a range?
