ugh, I'm getting REEEEEEAAAALLLLL sick of the consistently rotating artist and writers on the Spider-man/Deadpool series. It was fine at first, but now I can't even remember the last issue that was written by the real star talent that made the series amazing....Joe Kelly and Ed McGuinness.

What the heck is going on Marvel? Is Joe Kelly busy? Ed McGuinness slacking off? Or are you just dumping a bunch of "new talent" on this book and constantly pushing the duo and ongoing story we all WANT to see aside for these newbies. I was buying that series for Joe Kelly and Ed McGuinness, but I'm probably going to drop it and just pick up the issues I want to buy.....the ones written by Joe Kelly and Ed McGuinness.

I think Kelly and McGuinness are concluding their run with issue #18 and Corin is the new permanent writer starting with #19.

But I agree.. the rotating creators totally derailed the magic that the main team was forging and now I don't even know if I want to continue after #18.

If this is true, they lose me after Issue 18. Out of 18 issues, Joe Kelly and Ed McGuinness' run was only 11 issues. That's a pretty short run, and we both know both creators are easily capable of telling longer stories than that. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Marvel kept shoving all these different writers and artist in-between their run and they eventually just got sick of it and decided to walk. I certainly would. I mean, Marvel wasn't even waiting for them to finish their story arcs before shoving a guest issue in.

Look at the previous issues released, they had five issues of their first story arc (Isn't it Bromantic).....then two guest issues, and then concluded that arc (Isn't it Bromantic) with a single issue, then Joe and Ed started up the second arc (Itsy Bitsy) and they got two issues into that arc before being interrupted by two more guest issues, then the Itsy Bitsy arc went on again for another two issues.....AND THEN WE GOT ANOTHER TWO GUEST ISSUES! The Itsy Bitsy arc, still hasn't even concluded yet.

I think that is the main problem, if the guest issues weren't crammed in-between the arcs and instead where place in-between them. They'd be a lot more tolerable. As is, they feel really invasive.

EDIT: Giving it some thought, this could be Joe and Ed's fault. Maybe they couldn't keep up a monthly schedule......but I doubt it. Cause as I've said, they've been able to keep up a monthly schedule before.

The whole thing is ridiculous. Whoever's fault it was, it completely derailed the book. It doesn't double ship. The first 5 or 6 or 7 issues or whatever it was went back to print countless times. And then all the guest issues and tie-ins and whatever else completely killed any and all momentum Kelly and McGuinness had at the start. It was one of Marvel's best books when it launched. Now, I doubt seeing myself reading it after Kelly and McGuinness' story ends.
