5 Ronin (2011) #1 - 'The Way Of The One'
5 Ronin (2011) #2 - 'The Way Of The Monk'
5 Ronin (2011) #3 (Camuncoli Variant) - 'The Way Of The Samurai'

The list only mentions # 5.

Thanks for the Update. I am finishing my bachelor thesis next week, got some Updates and Scans for the appearance list. Also got the Wrestler issue Warrior #1 on E-Bay and finally received the Age of Apocalypse Omnibus today including X-Calibre. Totally awesome volume.

I was finally able to track down one of the more questionable DP appearances. I had seen it mentioned in many lists but was never able to get a clear pic or proof that he was actually in or on the book. Well after buying the regular cover online I found that DP was no where to be found inside or on the cover. I then discovered that there was a variant cover but it was hard to come by. I found one online after months of searching and when it arrived I was surprised to find that it is a mini sized comic and DP's head is featured on the back cover along with numerous other comic heroes.

So here it is, Warrior #1 variant print from Ultimate Creations.

The comic is in a standard current comic bag and board to show size.

Got the same Issue, DP is on the left side on the middle. Now I will try to hunt down Wolverine #102.5 ..

I had some time this weekend so I checked the list and found some confirmed (I have all the mentioned issues) appearances still missing:

Marvel Vision #28 1998, April (Daily Bugle Report about events in Heroes for Hire #10)
Weapon X #1 2002, November (one page. head-shot)

Also confirmed the aformentioned Avengers Forever #1 December, 1998: head on cover (can be seen only partly under the 'e' of Avengers).

Another special appearance: Lego 6866 Comic with DP and Wolverine (4 page).

Cable #3 is already on the list.

X-Men #-1 I have and need to add the list.

I have Marvel Vision #26, #27 and #28 ordered along with Marvel Annual Report 1993, Marvel Masterpieces Collection #3 and Marvel Zombies: Dead Days. I will post pics when I get them.


As far as Avengers Forever #1 goes, I have stared at that cover over and over trying to see him and I just don't think it deserves to be on the list. Even with the text removed from the cover I still question the fact that DP is the person behind the "E". If the original cover artist tells me it's DP then I will accept it.

My regular Netbook is still not repared. So when I get it back I can scan the mentioned appearances. Thanks for the quick reply!
